The educational project FORMAT launches its first master-class in 2016. A hero of the occasion and lecturer is Vasya Andreev, art director with a worldwide reputation.

We will hear about the "Design without rules or how to buy the design."

On 20^th of February took place the FORMAT "DESIGN WITHOUT RULES or HOW TO BUY DESIGN" - the most effective course to determine the quality of design with presented real practical cases of solving of business problems with the design of the HDK graduate of Goteborg University, Goteborg, Sweden, the founder of BALTICDESIGNSCHOOL (Vilnius-Minsk), head of SECTOR AGENCY (Tallinn, Estonia) VASILI ANDREEV.

As part of his master class Vasily Andreev has told the audience how to buy a good design and what is the difference between a good and the bad design. Its practical part was devoted to the work on the formulation of objectives and the definition of work acceptance criteria. He raised topics relevant to design professionals: how to understand the client (setting goals – briefing, qualified assistance to customers in determining the decision values and formulation of the problem, the ways to deal with the problem, then why the client does not accept a work done, how to make a work better, dealing with customers insights and the targeted audience).
